BAROSSA VALLEY

SINGLE VINEYARD - ROSENVALE ‘ROSENZWEIG’ VINEYARD – BAY 7

Our story has been etched out of tradition and flavoured with passion. It is the story of a love affair that began in 1858 when Gottfried Rosenzweig arrived in the Barossa Valley to farm the land. And today, 7 generations later, the story and the Rosenzweig generations connected to its beginnings, continue in the Barossa Valley.

The S E V E N T H is a symbol of our family's journey so far and is a reflection of where we are today as farmers of the Barossa. Most gratifying to us is our ability to expose our children to the importance of taking pride in our craft, and how we care for the land, the vines that we are fortunate to make a living from and share with you ultimately.

"Very deep, concentrated red-purple colour with a chocolate/coca-powder, mocha and panforte bouquet. Rich and full-bodied, powerful and enveloping flavour and texture, the tannins mouth-coating and serious, firm and drying at the finish. Plenty of oak has been used but it's big enough to cope. Some more age would help. A full-throttle shiraz. 94 Points - Huon Hooke, The Real Review.
